   spec-as-source-of-truth

   Once agents can generate a working implementation from a clear spec, the spec becomes the artifact you actually maintain, the code is just today's compiled output of it.

   I used to keep design docs and code in sync by hand, and the docs always drifted a version behind. Now I write the spec first, generate the implementation, and when the spec changes I regenerate instead of patching around it. The code stopped being the thing I edit and became the thing I review — my actual judgment moved upstream, into the spec.
